City Hospital
A private super-speciality hospital next to the government medical campus in Jawahar Nagar, Sri Ganganagar, built for patients who want a named consultant and a written plan.
Since 2001
We opened because night duty in this neighbourhood had nowhere quiet to send people.
City Hospital Care began as a 30-bed hospital run by a group of Sri Ganganagar clinicians who were tired of handing families a referral slip at midnight. The building now holds 50 beds, 4 operating rooms, a catheter laboratory, a Level-II neonatal unit, and diagnostics on the same campus.
We are a private hospital. We do not claim a government accreditation we have not been awarded. What we do claim is a habit: the Emergency note becomes the first page of the inpatient file, and a discharge summary is printed before the bill is argued.

How we work
Four rules the floor actually uses
The file travels
Diagnostics sit on the patient record. You should not carry a stack of papers between floors unless you choose to.
Consent is not a corridor chat
Procedures, anaesthesia, and imaging with contrast are explained in writing. Signatures are dated. Emergency consent follows the guardian plus doctor rule used in Indian hospitals.
Language at the desk
Registration and nursing handovers run in English, Hindi, Punjabi. Ask; do not wait to be offered.
Campus
- Jawahar Nagar, Sri Ganganagar — a short ambulance run from GMCH-32.
- 50 beds, including ICU, HDU, maternity, and paediatrics.
- 12 operating rooms and a 24-hour catheter laboratory.
- Pathology, X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and 3T MRI in the same building.
Visiting and OPD
- OPD: Monday–Saturday, 8:00–18:00
- Emergency: Open every hour of the year (+91 172 501 2400)
- Ward visiting: 10:00–13:00 and 16:00–19:00. Relatives wait in the Waiting Hall; one person at the bedside at a time.
- Parking is on the west forecourt. Accessible drop-off is under the atrium canopy.
