Internal Medicine
Medicine clinics hold the long problems: diabetes, blood pressure, infection, asthma, and the patient who has seen three specialists and still does not have a single plan.
A first visit is an hour by design. We reconcile medicines, allergies, and previous reports before adding a new prescription.
Inpatient medicine takes over when infection, metabolic illness, or unexplained fever needs observation. Daily notes are written so the night team is not starting from rumour.
Chronic disease reviews are scheduled, not left to “come back sometime”. Missed appointments get one reminder call from the desk.

- Poorly controlled diabetes or blood pressure
- Prolonged fever, cough, or unexplained fatigue
- Multiple medicines that need a single review
- A hospital discharge that still does not make sense
