Clinical service

Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Pregnancy and gynaecology are treated as ordinary medicine: clear scans, named midwives, and a consultant who is actually on the floor when labour changes.

Antenatal clinics run with the same obstetrician across visits whenever possible. High-risk pregnancies are co-managed with medicine, cardiology, or neonatology as needed.

Labour rooms sit one floor above the neonatal unit. Caesarean lists are planned; emergency sections do not wait for a full theatre list to finish elsewhere.

Gynaecology covers menstrual disorders, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and menopause. Procedures are explained in writing, including fertility implications, before consent is taken.
